Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Kotlin backend microservices for high-traffic, high-availability systems.
- Design reliable integrations for document, liveness, and ID verification to support KYC operations and global expansion.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers on data pipelines, analytics platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Work with frontend, product, design, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into backend solutions.
- Participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and strategy sessions while mentoring peers and raising technical standards.
- Define service-level objectives, monitor performance metrics, and improve reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and proactive security risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Extensive software development experience with strong expertise in Java or Kotlin, or similar languages.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and extensible systems and high-availability microservices.
- Ability to build or collaborate on data pipelines, analytics platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, prioritization, and ownership skills.
