Responsibilities
- Deliver, operate, and optimize RAN automation, SMO, and SON solutions across multi-technology and multi-vendor customer networks.
- Design, develop, onboard, integrate, configure, validate, and deploy automation applications and use cases.
- Own application lifecycle operations, including steady-state operation in live customer networks.
- Analyze network performance data and KPIs to drive optimization actions and verify measurable improvements.
- Troubleshoot RAN behavior, application logic, data pipelines, and automation platforms, including customer escalations and root-cause analysis.
- Interface with customer RAN, OSS, and automation teams and collaborate with internal product and R&D organizations.
- Conduct technical workshops, presentations, and operational handovers while contributing reusable delivery assets and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on wireless-network experience with strong 5G and LTE exposure; UMTS/GSM knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of RAN architecture, optimization techniques, interfaces, KPIs, and performance monitoring.
- Experience working in multi-vendor RAN environments, including vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, or Samsung.
- Demonstrated ability to execute network-optimization changes and measure their impact against KPIs.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python.
- Strong customer-facing, service-driven, and delivery-oriented capabilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Network Automation, SON, SMO platforms, automation applications or rApps, OSS systems, Linux-based systems, databases, data platforms, live commercial networks, and AI-assisted development workflows.
