Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug components for large-scale, high-speed distributed systems.
- Own nonfunctional requirements including scalability, availability, and security.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for robust code and functional coverage.
- Produce enterprise-class documentation for internal and external collaboration.
- Break down complex tasks, plan work, and execute effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to elevate technology standards and apply best practices.
- Participate in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of significant hands-on coding experience with Golang, preferably in a product development environment.
- Strong programming and software design fundamentals with excellent problem-solving and coding skills.
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, including the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
- Understanding of concurrency and multithreading, with an interest in building high-performance systems.
- Experience architecting microservices and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, machine learning services, or large-scale systems is preferred.
