Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop custom Python applications, web services, enterprise solutions, automation scripts, and geoprocessing tools.
- Create and manage GEOMAP dashboards and Portal content, enterprise geoprocessing services, and system integrations.
- Administer on-premises data gateways and support GIS software, scripts, tools, applications, and service performance.
- Upgrade and migrate legacy GIS applications and services to the Cloud One AWS environment.
- Integrate data across applications and conduct code, automation, and dashboard reviews.
- Use Jira and Confluence to document processes, track tasks, and manage projects within the GeoBase Agile framework.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance are required.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification is required, along with willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Expert knowledge of Esri ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS administration, Esri Feature Service administration, and Python scripting with ArcPy.
- Experience with Oracle databases and other RDBMS software in cloud environments, with familiarity with SQL*Plus and PostgreSQL.
- Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment such as AWS.
- Experience with SDSFIE GIS data standards or other defined spatial data models, advanced geospatial data knowledge, and projection and coordinate system transformations.
- Strong technical writing, communication, data quality, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes the DAF GeoBase program, enterprise GIS, Department of War geospatial data or systems, SDSFIE, and Atlassian Jira or Confluence.
