Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, enhance, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions for Department of the Interior programs.
- Build and customize Model-Driven Apps and configure Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, security, business rules, forms, views, workflows, and data-quality controls.
- Develop secure external-facing experiences with Microsoft Power Pages.
- Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Build Power Automate cloud flows for submissions, document routing, notifications, approvals, compliance, and other business processes.
- Support integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, custom connectors, and approved external systems.
- Apply application lifecycle management practices including source control, solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to translate requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, demonstrations, testing, release activities, and production support.
- Maintain technical documentation, release notes, procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials while applying federal security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and governance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience building Model-Driven Apps and configuring Microsoft Dataverse solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience creating Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, or visualizations.
- Hands-on experience with Power Pages, Power Automate cloud flows, business process automation, and Power Platform integrations.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, external systems, solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, and deployment processes.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery team and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a regulated or process-driven environment.
- Technical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, role-based security, Power Platform ALM and governance, Git-based source control, CI/CD practices, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft PL-400, PL-300, or PL-900 certifications; Azure, CompTIA Security+, Scrum, Agile, or SAFe certifications; federal agency experience; secure portal and Power Pages security experience; Dataverse security, auditing, data migration, and integration experience; DAX and Power Query; Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or Application Insights; Microsoft federal cloud or FedRAMP-aligned environments; Power Apps Code Apps; Section 508; and C#/.NET.
