Responsibilities
- Create repeatable, componentized, end-to-end solution designs that improve delivery speed, maximize reuse, and support scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Define application, integration, data, infrastructure, interface, dependency, and migration requirements for projects.
- Work with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technology vendors, project teams, engineering teams, and test teams to evaluate solutions and deliver architecture.
- Manage and maintain the application portfolio and contribute to enterprise architecture planning.
- Produce project artefacts, high-level cost estimates, migration strategies, and architecture documentation.
- Identify risks, weaknesses, technical debt, prerequisites, and interdependencies across current and future application architectures.
- Provide design governance during project delivery, evaluate changes, and seek approval through the technical design authority.
- Maintain enterprise architecture repository information and follow the Enterprise Architecture Framework and agreed SDLC standards.
- Line manage a small team of project-based architects.
- Communicate architecture decisions, recommendations, rationale, and implications clearly to business and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with enterprise middleware technology for 3PL/4PL in the pharmaceutical, wholesale, or logistics industry.
- 3–5 years of experience in a solution architecture role focused on systems integration using middleware.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
- Experience with OpenText ECS and Delta.
- Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
- Experience line managing a small team of project-based architects.
- Development or architectural experience in a senior technical role or technical management position.
- Experience producing project artefacts and communicating ideas and information to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- English and French language skills.
- Desirable experience with Manhattan Active, Axway, Applicom ERP, multinational matrix organizations, collaboration across teams, and EA tools such as Hopex, iServer, and Planview.
