Responsibilities
- Map finance processes end-to-end and identify bottlenecks, manual work, control gaps, and simplification opportunities.
- Challenge and redesign existing processes rather than only automating current tasks.
- Design and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and speed.
- Identify and deploy AI use cases for finance operations and decision-making.
- Build solutions that reduce repetitive work and improve management information.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, Data, and other stakeholders to take initiatives from idea and prototype through production and adoption.
- Establish reusable automation and AI best practices across Brazil, Spain, and Mexico.
- Track outcomes including hours saved, cycle-time improvements, accuracy, controls, and business insights.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or another quantitative or technical field.
- Strong experience in process mapping, process redesign, and automation.
- Proven experience delivering process automation initiatives from identification through implementation.
- Hands-on experience with AI solutions or AI-enabled process transformation, ideally in real business workflows.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical or process solutions.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn and experiment with the evolving AI ecosystem.
- Ability to work across functions, cultures, and geographies.
- Portuguese, English, and Spanish proficiency.
- Experience with Finance teams or processes, including FP&A, Accounting, Controllership, Treasury, Procurement, financial reporting, or management information, is desirable but not mandatory.
