Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance data pipelines managing the full lifecycle of financial data.
- Create foundational frameworks and platforms that establish AI as a core company capability.
- Advocate for and demonstrate effective use of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple data sources.
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, especially Python or Java.
- Experience with database systems, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and mature data processes at scale.
- Experience with offline data processing and batch pipelines such as Spark or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, orchestration tools such as Airflow, and data transformation and modeling tools such as dbt.
- Strong ownership, communication, resilience, assurance, and creative problem-solving abilities.
