Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for Amazon LEO Customer Terminal devices.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, code coverage, and product deployment.
- Use C, C++, Rust, Python, or other programming languages to develop embedded software.
- Apply real-time embedded software practices and work with Linux and/or RTOS environments.
- Review schematics and use logic analyzers and embedded software troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with hardware, product, operations, and internal and external Amazon teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of embedded firmware development experience.
- At least 3 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with embedded wireless systems.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or individuals granted asylum due to export control requirements.
Benefits
- The base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 USD annually.
- The package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
