Base Salary
$126k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact across multiple scrum teams for mobile application feature development.
- Assess, scope, and manage code changes for business requirements, product enhancements, and change requests.
- Design and develop complex software in collaboration with architects and senior engineers.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, pull-request reviews, and community-of-practice meetings.
- Coordinate with marketing and product owners to deploy production releases.
- Mentor and coach junior and senior engineers and lead offshore teams in feature design and development.
- Drive architectural, process, and platform improvements across iOS and Android development.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, middleware, DevOps, firmware, quality, product, and other business teams.
- Enforce internal development process standards and comply with security, confidentiality, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of native Swift experience for iOS engineering or at least 7 years of native Kotlin experience for Android engineering.
- Experience writing unit tests, working in larger team environments, and using Git for source control.
- Experience leading architectural and process changes, performing technical interviews, and creating technical documentation.
- Expertise in MVC and MVVM UI patterns, RESTful services, and JSON.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools, frameworks, and deployment processes.
- Ability to lead complex projects, estimate work, support project plans, report progress, and interface with product owners and scrum masters.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include mobile development bootcamp training, organized training, certifications, or experience leading a mobile platform outside the candidate’s primary expertise.
- An advanced directly applicable degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.

- Base pay range of $126,198.00 to $215,291.00.
