Responsibilities
- Reimagine and implement a next-generation data platform for the music industry.
- Build systems that store, represent, ingest, process, and serve artist, songwriter, work, and music-consumption data.
- Develop large-scale data processing pipelines and high-availability dimensional data stores.
- Support business processes and capabilities including marketing optimization, performance tracking, rights acquisition and distribution, search, discovery, machine learning, and generative AI applications.
- Own the creation and delivery of innovative products while collaborating with engineering teammates and leaders.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in backend development or data engineering.
- Experience building or developing large-scale data processing pipelines and/or high-availability dimensional data stores.
- Strong coding ability, design skills, ownership, adaptability, and a drive to deliver impact.
- Excellent empathetic communication skills and a commitment to learning and mastering software development.
- Passion for music and interest in providing data that supports the music industry.
