Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design specs to develop test plans and test cases.
- Work with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
- Automate API tests, end-to-end tests, and reliability/scale tests.
- Automate all critical features to maintain zero-debt cadence.
- Review application code, identify bugs, and architect tools for future coverage.
- Release features with solid quality.
- Respond to production issues and customer issues during on-call rotation.
- Advocate for customer quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of QE/SDET experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS or product-based company.
- Experience in quality engineering for enterprise-level software.
- Experience in Java-based automation development.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, TestCafe, and Postman.
- Expertise in test planning and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with distributed systems at large scale.
- Ability to write and review designs and code.
