Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements capture, research, product definition, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance across the full software lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, and debug secure Yocto systems, Linux system libraries, tools, software features, and product tooling.
- Mentor other engineers, coordinate with internal groups, and resolve complex technical issues as a hands-on technical leader.
- Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, Learning Products, and other business groups to deliver whole-product solutions.
Requirements
- A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- At least 3 years of software development experience on Linux platforms, or 1+ years with an MS degree.
- Demonstrated object-oriented design and C++ programming skills, including knowledge of C++ standards.
- Proficiency with compilers including gcc and cross-compilation, debuggers including kgdb and gdb, and performance profilers.
- Systems-level thinking, abstraction, problem-solving, critical thinking, and a positive team-oriented approach.
- Desired qualifications include experience with multiple operating systems, Yocto and embedded Linux design, kernel or driver development, and Python and its associated tools.
