Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and manage Terraform infrastructure as code, including reusable modules and multiple environments.
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes platforms, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling, security, and availability.
- Support containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads.
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Flux CD and manage deployments through Git repositories.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Create self-service capabilities and improve deployment processes and platform adoption for development teams.
- Automate operational tasks, improve platform reliability, monitor systems, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support cloud governance, security, access management, cost optimization, documentation, and platform standards.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, access control, and security.
- Proven experience using Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state management, multi-environment deployments, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service workloads.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes ingress controllers, networking, storage, scaling, and observability.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps principles and Flux CD.
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository governance.
- Experience monitoring systems, troubleshooting production incidents, and performing root-cause analysis.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, ownership, and production-support skills.
