Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems and architectures and derive improvement measures.
- Design software architectures and align them with customers remotely and on site.
- Develop high-performance software and make collaborative architecture decisions with project teams.
- Implement specified applications and deployments according to agile principles.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, LLMs, and agentic-coding workflows in daily development.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security vulnerabilities, technical debt, and architectural fit.
- Create and maintain AI configuration files for project-specific coding-agent control.
- Evaluate new AI tools and models and establish appropriate team practices.
- Coach colleagues on agentic-coding tools and modern software development practices.
- Share knowledge and develop the company’s technology stack, including AI tools.
- Contribute to consulting-related sales activities and actively develop customer relationships.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in computer science or a related field; interdisciplinary backgrounds are welcome.
- Long-standing practical software development experience with responsibility for architecture and technical decisions.
- Strong knowledge of current technologies and frameworks, including Java EE, Spring, and Angular.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development environments, especially GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code.
- Experience using LLMs for code generation, refactoring, test generation, documentation, and code reviews.
- Understanding and effective use of agentic-coding patterns.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and customer interaction.
- Very good German and English skills.
