Base Salary
$170k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system that processes real-time events and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design and defend service architectures and deliver robust implementations.
- Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements clarification through deployment and customer adoption.
- Operate systems directly and improve software supportability and resilience based on operational experience.
- Write Go code and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
- Maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management to refine requirements and exceed customer expectations.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder and peer interaction.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least four years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- Experience with REST API clients.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge and experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to continually learn, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to comply with applicable U.S. export controls.
