Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Create intuitive user experiences with attention to UI/UX details and usability.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and development of engineering best practices.
- Debug, optimize, and refactor code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Use Xcode and Instruments to analyze runtime, memory, and performance issues.
- Stay current with iOS technologies and apply improvements to the product.
Requirements
- Proven experience in iOS application development, demonstrated through published apps or GitHub code samples.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, debugging, and performance analysis.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals for iOS applications.
- Experience with concurrency and asynchronous programming in Swift.
- Preferred experience with Swift Concurrency and Swift 6 features.
- Preferred familiarity with The Composable Architecture or similar architectural patterns.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, modular app design, testing frameworks, and automation.
- Preferred knowledge of AVFoundation, Core Data, Bluetooth, NFC, or Matter integrations.
- Open-source contributions or active participation in developer communities is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
