Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy applications that use PhysicsX physics AI models to solve customer engineering problems.
- Collaborate with customers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, designers, and frontend engineers to shape and deliver solutions.
- Prototype, ship, and rapidly iterate on customer-facing tools based on user feedback.
- Build and maintain Python microservices and FastAPI APIs to serve Large Physics Models.
- Deploy applications and infrastructure to the cloud using Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
- Distill solutions across use cases into reusable platform components and develop features for the core PhysicsX platform.
- Travel to customer sites in North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania for an average of 3–4 weeks per quarter.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of solving complex problems.
- Experience or a solid foundation in API design and deploying applications to production.
- Ability to work across the full stack and understand complex engineering concepts across multiple industries.
- Ability to collaborate directly with customers and take ownership of problems end to end.
- Mechanical Engineering or a similar background is a plus.
- Ability to obtain authorization to access software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license may be required.
