Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services using HTL, Java, Sling Models, and OSGi.
- Build responsive and accessible user experiences using AEM Core Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Develop Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and headless content models for omnichannel delivery.
- Implement AEM integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, Adobe I/O, and other integration frameworks.
- Configure and support AEM as a Cloud Service environments and Cloud Manager deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with UX designers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development standards, security guidelines, and cloud-native practices.
- Support AEM migration and modernization initiatives, including upgrades from AEM 6.5 and Adobe Managed Services.
- Troubleshoot authoring, publishing, content replication, caching, workflows, deployment pipelines, and production issues.
- Optimize AEM performance, component reuse, and content authoring experiences.
- Work with DevOps and platform teams to automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
- Support production releases, platform maintenance, incident resolution, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience.
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service.
- Expertise developing AEM components, templates, workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Sling Models, OSGi Services, Servlets, JCR, and Apache Sling.
- Experience with HTL/Sightly, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Experience implementing RESTful API integrations and enterprise application connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Cloud Manager, Git, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting AEM author, publish, and dispatcher environments.
- Understanding of AEM security, caching strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AEM Headless CMS, GraphQL, Adobe I/O Runtime, Event Framework, SPA Editor, Universal Editor, Edge Delivery Services, AEM migrations, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Platform, cloud-native environments, and DevOps-driven organizations.
- Preferred certifications include Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer Professional, Adobe Experience Manager Architect Expert, Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service Certification, and Adobe Experience Cloud Certifications.
