Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform incidents.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using Helm, ArgoCD, and Flux.
- Develop Python, Bash, and other automation tooling to improve operational efficiency.
- Configure monitoring and alerting, participate in incident response and root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability.
- Integrate and support Jira workflows and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams on scalable and secure platform solutions.
- Support cloud governance, compliance, cloud security posture management, and infrastructure security initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Hands-on Terraform experience, including module development and management.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab source control platforms.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Production experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Experience with Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or similar monitoring and observability platforms.
- Basic database administration and SQL query experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Preferred experience with Azure AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Virtual Networks.
- Preferred experience with AWS EKS, ECR, IAM, and VPC.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management and security best practices.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
- Familiarity with Jira, automated testing, continuous integration, and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent DevOps/Cloud certifications or bootcamp training.
- Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or AWS Associate-level certifications are preferred.
- Experience supporting highly available, enterprise-scale cloud platforms is preferred.
