Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based applications as part of an Agile Scrum team.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Software Development Managers to translate business needs into technical requirements and actions.
  • Design, code, analyze, and solve complex technical problems and projects.
  • Prepare software documentation, including technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Develop automated unit tests according to company standards.
  • Participate in peer reviews and help ensure software quality throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor teammates and new employees, and encourage development best practices.
  • Coach and mentor others on Agile development lifecycle practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or an Engineering-related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • Knowledge and proven experience with development methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Advanced understanding of Agile development using Scrum or Kanban, including the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Proficiency in at least three listed programming languages, with expert proficiency in two: C++, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, Ruby, Java, or HTML.
  • Proficiency in one or more relational database management systems or NoSQL data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and SOLID design principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, generate solutions, make recommendations, outline pros and cons, and implement action plans with assistance.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
