Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based applications as part of an Agile Scrum team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Software Development Managers to translate business needs into technical requirements and actions.
- Design, code, analyze, and solve complex technical problems and projects.
- Prepare software documentation, including technical diagrams and manuals.
- Develop automated unit tests according to company standards.
- Participate in peer reviews and help ensure software quality throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor teammates and new employees, and encourage development best practices.
- Coach and mentor others on Agile development lifecycle practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or an Engineering-related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer.
- Knowledge and proven experience with development methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and Scrum.
- Advanced understanding of Agile development using Scrum or Kanban, including the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Proficiency in at least three listed programming languages, with expert proficiency in two: C++, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, Ruby, Java, or HTML.
- Proficiency in one or more relational database management systems or NoSQL data platforms.
- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and SOLID design principles.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, generate solutions, make recommendations, outline pros and cons, and implement action plans with assistance.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
