Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
  • Own and evolve frontend architecture, including micro-frontend patterns, monorepos, and shared component libraries.
  • Define scalable state-management and data-fetching strategies for server, client, and UI state.
  • Govern design systems with UX/UI designers to promote consistency, accessibility, and reusability.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs, including authentication flows and data models.
  • Improve rendering performance, code splitting, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Ensure high standards for security, accessibility, internationalization, and browser compatibility.
  • Define and drive unit, integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing practices.
  • Contribute to build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker- and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Promote responsible AI-assisted frontend development practices.
  • Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and drive technical decisions across teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of professional frontend development experience and a record of leading technical topics.
  • Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, including React hooks, context, concurrent rendering, and Suspense.
  • Deep experience with state-management and data-fetching libraries such as Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, Zustand, MobX, TanStack Query, or XState.
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries, including tools such as Storybook, design tokens, or theming.
  • Experience with micro-frontend architectures, scalable frontend codebases, and monorepo tooling such as Nx or Turborepo.
  • Strong knowledge of build tooling, bundling optimization, web performance profiling, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and using WebSockets, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
  • Strong knowledge of web accessibility and web security best practices, including WCAG, XSS, CSRF, and CSP.
  • Experience with Jest or Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and working in agile teams.
  • Experience with frontend observability and error tracking, SSR frameworks, or Node.js is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools and sound judgment about responsible team use.
