Responsibilities
- Architect and build authentication and authorization services that protect customer data.
- Design and scale resilient gRPC and HTTP APIs and microservices on Kubernetes.
- Write maintainable backend code and evolve service architecture for product growth.
- Lead threat modeling, performance tuning, reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response initiatives.
- Own production services from design through deployment and operation.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams on the technical roadmap.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and operating distributed backend systems in a modern typed language.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Deep expertise in authentication and authorization concepts, including OIDC, OAuth2, RBAC, and ABAC.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Proven experience owning production services through design, development, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Collaborative, pragmatic communication skills and a desire to mentor others.
