Base Salary
$106k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Benchmark, profile, and tune HPC and AI applications and industry-standard benchmarks across HPE’s HPC and AI product portfolio.
- Analyze and resolve engineering and customer performance issues on HPC systems deployed worldwide.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical and benchmarking support for HPC and AI customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with product engineering, product management, and marketing to influence current and future product capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and their impact on product differentiation, performance, and features.
- Lead application-focused performance studies and projects and author technical reports and papers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
- At least 7 years of demonstrated experience with high-end HPC systems and performance analysis and tuning of scalable HPC applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills, with mastery of English.
- Preferred experience with large-scale HPC and AI systems and software.
- Detailed understanding of multiprocessor and GPU architectures and parallel programming techniques such as OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, and HIP.
- Preferred proficiency with HPL, HPCG, OSU MPI, NCCL, and RCCL benchmarks on CPUs and GPUs.
- Preferred experience with performance projection methodologies and performance measurement tools and techniques.
