Base Salary
$156k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack Pinner-facing features for Pinterest.
- Contribute to and lead product development from ideation and prototyping through A/B testing, technical design, implementation, and release.
- Architect and build solutions that scale to support millions of users.
- Partner with design, product, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Suggest new product ideas and features from the Pinner perspective.
- Use automated testing and own the technical quality of developed components and features.
- Drive new initiatives and grow through collaboration with experienced engineering peers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of industry experience in full-stack or backend development for consumer- or business-facing products.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend technology stacks, including examples such as JavaScript and React.
- Experience writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many engineers.
- Ability to stay current with new technologies and evaluate what should be incorporated.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
