Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack - Slack Enterprise Trust

Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise security and compliance features for Slack.
- Own the long-term health and architecture of core systems such as SSO, SCIM, and EKM.
- Drive technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions for scalable, performant systems.
- Assist support and operations teams with production issue triage and resolution.
- Mentor engineers, provide deep code reviews, and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features that support enterprise adoption.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience building web applications.
- Proficiency in a functional or imperative programming language such as PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Ability to drive technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and write understandable, testable, maintainable code.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and engineers.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Experience with PHP/Hack, React, TypeScript, MySQL, Linux, or other common web languages and relational databases is valuable.

- The position is offered with a base salary range of $197,300-$313,700 annually, or $237,700-$344,700 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; bonus, equity, and benefits may also apply.
