Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy generative AI systems and LLM-powered applications using models such as GPT, Claude, and LLaMA.
- Build agentic workflows and task-specific AI agents using Palantir AIP or Microsoft Agent Framework.
- Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, orchestration, retrieval, and evaluation techniques to improve AI system performance.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL workflows, ML pipelines, MLOps workflows, and model-serving systems.
- Develop reusable AI components, services, and APIs, including retrieval and embedding workflows with vector databases.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI solutions and support workshops and proofs of concept.
- Communicate model outputs, data findings, risks, and technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions, code quality, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical or quantitative discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in software, data, ML engineering, or data science, including hands-on LLM or generative AI experience.
- Demonstrated success delivering data or ML pipelines and AI/ML solutions to production.
- Experience with exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, classification, regression, forecasting, or other data science fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning such as LoRA, LLM orchestration, and agent frameworks.
- Experience building ETL and ML pipelines and applying MLOps practices, Docker, and model serving.
- Familiarity with pandas, scikit-learn, model evaluation, and experimentation.
- Experience with Palantir AIP, Azure ML, Microsoft Agent Framework, Power Automate, and Snowflake or comparable platforms.
- Working knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval systems.
- Preferred experience with IoT, edge analytics, smart building systems, LLMOps, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint, Power Platform, data privacy, and enterprise LLM governance.
- Ability to own projects, collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams, present technical work, and manage priorities independently.
