Base Salary
$80k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Mentor team members, participate in hiring and annual reviews, and help shape engineering culture.
- Create, shape, propose, and present engineering practices, architectures, technology stacks, and reusable solutions.
- Contribute technical expertise to business development, content creation, and client proposals.
- Propose project technologies, define team structures, translate business requirements, and create reference implementations.
- Lead by example through hands-on coding and delivery of high-quality documentation, architecture, code, and tests.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of software development experience, including experience working in teams.
- Expertise in the language and library or framework ecosystems of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines and working with enterprise application integration.
- Experience with SOA, microservices, or similar architectural patterns and separation-of-concerns design.
- Experience with authentication and authorization methods and products.
- Experience selecting persistence products, designing database schemas, defining constraints and transaction boundaries, and making read/write design trade-offs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or XP and balancing feature delivery with technical debt and long-term quality.
