Base Salary

$163k - $245k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate existing and newly developed autonomy capabilities onto emerging-domain platforms and mission areas.
  • Develop platform and autopilot integrations, payload and sensor integrations, mission behaviors, multi-agent coordination, and contingencies.
  • Validate autonomy through software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, vehicle-in-the-loop, and live testing.
  • Partner with platform, autonomy, perception, GCS, feature, program, and customer teams to deliver mission-ready systems.
  • Contribute to design reviews, interface control documents, integration planning, post-mortems, and interoperability standards.
  • Build, configure, troubleshoot, and prepare systems for flight tests, maritime trials, ground tests, demonstrations, and operational exercises.
  • Capture mission data, reproduce issues in simulation, and develop tools and processes that improve integration and testing reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Linux-based development.
  • Experience integrating embedded or real-time software systems.
  • Experience supporting integration, testing, or operational field events.
  • Strong systems-level problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with autonomous aircraft, maritime systems, spacecraft, robotics, autonomy software, autopilot integration, robotics frameworks, Python, Docker, rapid R&D, DoD customers, or field demonstrations.
