Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture - Data & AI

Responsibilities
- Lead technical scoping, design, and work planning during the pre-sales process for Data & AI engagements.
- Lead technical architecture and discovery for client projects and refine data products and technical architectures.
- Design scalable data pipelines, machine learning model architectures, and MLOps frameworks.
- Own a Data & AI technology vertical, including solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership.
- Provide account-level architectural guidance and subject matter expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Estimate team composition, project scope, budgets, and resource requirements within time and cost constraints.
- Communicate data and AI concepts to technical, non-technical, and executive stakeholders and support commercial client conversations.
Requirements
- Deep experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other major cloud data warehousing and lakehouse platforms.
- Proficiency with cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform/Vertex AI.
- Strong experience deploying and managing data and AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Specialized knowledge of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time analytics.
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, MLOps, agentic AI, and large language models.
- Deep understanding of MLOps principles and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery of machine learning models.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
- Experience with software estimation, work planning, project planning, and delivery in an agency or client-service environment.
- Experience with commercial conversations involving budgets and fees for Data & AI initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to use repeatable frameworks and best practices to adopt new data technologies and AI concepts.
- Ability to work across both pre-sales and post-sales environments and support holistic client account growth.
- Preferred expertise may include large-scale data warehousing, real-time analytics, MLOps, or agentic AI systems.
