Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using Go.
- Create and maintain software applications based on user requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, front-end developers, and other engineers to align project goals and integrations.
- Identify code smells, edge cases, architectural inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks, and propose pragmatic improvements.
- Participate in task planning, scheduling, prioritization, and execution to support timely project delivery.
- Stay current with technologies, methodologies, and programming tools to improve system performance and user experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with Go.
- Strong experience with backend or systems programming languages such as Rust, Zig, or C++ is welcome.
- Comfort using AI and LLMs to accelerate development while critically reviewing, validating, prototyping, and adapting generated code.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to identify software quality and performance issues and recommend practical improvements.
