Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain web applications and tools for AI model deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Own authentication, organization management, billing, and usage-related functionality end to end.
Develop scalable APIs for AI agents, workflows, and user-facing systems.
Integrate backend systems with deployment and orchestration pipelines in collaboration with infrastructure engineers.
Drive code quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for the platform’s long-term direction.
Identify technical debt and improve reliability in production systems.

4+ years of industry experience in backend or full-stack engineering, including meaningful backend systems work.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Production experience with SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC, API keys, authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant isolation.
Experience building billing or usage-metering systems involving usage-based or subscription pricing, entitlements, quotas, or payment integration.
Fluency in Python and TypeScript and proficiency with React/Next.js.
Strong backend experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
Proficiency designing data models, writing SQL, and working with PostgreSQL; familiarity with OLAP systems such as ClickHouse.
Strong production API design experience with gRPC, REST, and GraphQL.
Solid foundation in cloud-native development.
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry tracing, metrics, and structured logging.
Preferred experience with Stripe, usage-based or subscription SaaS billing, SAML, SCIM provisioning, Auth0, WorkOS, LLM-based workflows, tool invocation, agentic systems, Kubernetes, startup environments, developer-facing SDKs, or CLIs.
