Responsibilities
- Expand the platform’s deployment footprint across on-premises environments and major cloud providers.
- Build and maintain secure, fast, reproducible deployment pipelines and infrastructure tooling.
- Expand platform observability to support teams operating customer deployments.
- Partner with internal deployment teams, debug issues, and develop tooling for their use cases.
- Respond to production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
- Help maintain the deployment and observability product roadmap.
- Lead architecture reviews and own projects from design through deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and on-premises environments.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking engineering, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery principles using GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Experience with GitOps-style deployments and consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Strong production debugging skills and ability to navigate performance and security tradeoffs.
- Ability to work across reactive incident response and proactive product development.
- Preferred: infrastructure startup founding or early-engineering experience, secure workloads in multi-tenant or untrusted environments, open-source systems or developer-tools contributions, and production on-call or incident-response experience.
