Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy automation and application solutions under the guidance of senior developers and technical leads.
- Write Python scripts, applications, and integrations to automate business processes.
- Build applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Work with enterprise data using SQL and platforms such as Snowflake, and consume APIs to integrate systems.
- Translate defined business and technical requirements into working software components.
- Support testing, debugging, monitoring, production support, root cause analysis, and break/fix activities.
- Create and maintain technical and support documentation and provide end-user support and training as needed.
- Learn GBS business processes, data, and enterprise systems and identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow development standards, security practices, governance, and controls.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in software development, automation, or data, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects.
- Foundational programming skills in Python or another modern programming language.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and software development fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, quality focus, communication skills, and ability to collaborate.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies.
- English proficiency at C1 level, with additional languages as a plus.
- Hands-on Python experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects is preferred.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, AWS or another public cloud platform, web technologies, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Snowflake, SAP, or other enterprise data platforms is preferred.
- Interest in or exposure to AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation technologies is preferred.
