Responsibilities

  • Construct, implement, and deploy custom process-centric business applications using Appian.
  • Analyze client business strategies and operations to design technical solutions for workflow inefficiencies.
  • Use design-thinking methods to create functional prototypes and map end-to-end business models.
  • Integrate enterprise applications, business intelligence, and knowledge management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Support customer engagements with 10% or less annual travel.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and German language skills.
  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in engineering, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a related technical or analytical field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer systems or programming logic, or demonstrable interest in emerging software technologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate organizational strategies into process workflows.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing work.
  • Prior experience in a professional, academic, or technical setting, including internships, research, capstones, or part-time/full-time employment.
  • Preferred: foundational experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Preferred: fluency in AI and LLMs, including AI platform capabilities and hands-on AI tools.
  • Preferred: leadership experience in student organizations, clubs, or team-based activities.
