Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
- Build and support APIs, web services, and system integrations using MuleSoft and CloudHub.
- Develop AWS event-driven integrations using Lambda, SNS, and SQS, with Python-based automation, orchestration, and data processing.
- Implement secure file-exchange capabilities using AWS Transfer Family and related managed file-transfer technologies.
- Translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures and secure, performant API solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review and validate technical designs for quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and support production integration solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Support DevOps, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Participate in PI planning, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of overall IT or software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of integration engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
- Strong API design and development experience, including RAML-based design and governance.
- Experience with MuleSoft and CloudHub.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, and AWS file transfer.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and CloudWatch for debugging and application monitoring.
- Hands-on Git experience covering source control, branching, code promotion, and release management.
- Ability to design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, and related DevOps tools.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include 9+ years of IT or software engineering experience, 7+ years of integration engineering experience, insurance or financial-services experience, and AWS or MuleSoft certifications.
- Critical technical skills include MuleSoft, CloudHub, AWS, Spring Boot, Python, advanced API design, secure API design, stakeholder communication, technical leadership, and mentoring.
