Base Salary
$191k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the hub-and-spoke contract between cloud and on-prem edge nodes.
- Ensure on-prem nodes mirror cloud architecture and operate under DDIL conditions.
- Manage identity federation and degraded authentication for disconnected edges.
- Oversee data reconciliation and state consistency between cloud and edge.
- Automate configuration propagation to maintain architecture parity.
- Define and test failover and reconnect behavior for high availability.
- Set technical direction for the sub-team and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Must maintain an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
- Strong software background is mandatory.
- Proficient in a systems language such as Go, Rust, or Python.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud architecture, preferably GCP.
- Comfortable with on-prem and bare-metal deployments.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
