Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, testing tools, and internal utilities across mobile, desktop, services, cloud, application, frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
- Establish and execute verification, validation, test automation, manual testing, traceability, and regulatory compliance strategies for software products and releases.
- Create auditable test assets, verification evidence, reports, and production-ready solutions that improve test coverage, quality, and engineering efficiency.
- Design and implement AI-enabled engineering solutions, including agentic workflows, MCP servers, VS Code extensions, skills, and context-engineering frameworks.
- Evaluate and govern AI technology use while balancing productivity, compliance, reliability, security, and risk.
- Troubleshoot issues using logs, traces, network captures, and device-level analysis across Windows, macOS, Linux, containers, virtual machines, VPNs, proxies, certificates, authentication systems, and CI/CD environments.
- Create and support internal tools for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, software testing, quality engineering, verification and validation, or test automation, including at least 5 years designing and leading automation initiatives.
- Strong programming experience in Python and TypeScript/Node.js, with the ability to learn new technologies and deliver production-quality solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Appium, pytest, and API testing tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development, Docker, shell scripting, enterprise software delivery, networking, REST APIs, WebSockets, certificates, authentication, and system integration testing.
- Experience with Agile delivery tools and processes, including Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
- Experience in regulated environments, including test planning, requirements traceability, verification documentation, and quality management processes.
- Preferred experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
- Preferred knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, Design Controls, Jama, Windchill, and requirements traceability platforms.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin, Swift, and C#/.NET; Rust or Ruby exposure is advantageous.
- Experience with Wireshark, Charles Proxy, mitmproxy, tcpdump, Bluetooth Low Energy communication, and enterprise identity and security technologies such as Active Directory, Kerberos, OAuth2, SSO, and credential management.
- Experience building AI-enabled developer tools, automation agents, custom extensions, or engineering productivity solutions.
