Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of software solutions in line with architecture and security standards.
  • Support technical decisions, technology choices, and architecture for high-performance products, capabilities, and platforms.
  • Monitor systems, correct software defects, and maintain software systems.
  • Implement and maintain tools and automation processes supporting continuous delivery and developer productivity.
  • Write, test, review, refine, and rewrite code under supervision.
  • Communicate with engineering professionals and colleagues involved in project delivery.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of programming and scripting, continuous integration and deployment, software testing, version control, and Agile development.
  • Experience with software testing lifecycle phases including FAT, SAT, UAT, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of black-box, white-box, soak, performance, TDD, BDD, API, stub, and harness testing techniques.
  • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Evidence of testing across multiple platforms, including Linux and Windows.
  • Exposure to technologies including Python, Ansible, MongoDB, XML, VB, Java, C#, .NET, HTML, AngularJS, JSON, C++, SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK DV Security Clearance before starting and must have lived in the UK for 10+ years.
