Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across cloud providers, Kubernetes, and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to define and execute deployments.
- Promote SRE practices for system resilience, performance monitoring, and high availability.
- Design and deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Python.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to identify technical solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and create tooling to manage large-scale deployments.
- Lead scalable and sustainable operational mechanisms that support customer delivery.
- Train peers or customers on product operation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience.
- Technical expertise in one or more of networking, cloud technologies, application development, or cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Go, Python, Rust, or C++.
- Experience conducting data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems.
- Demonstrated ability to train peers or customers on product operation.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance that can be maintained.
- Preferred: experience managing Kubernetes clusters with hundreds of nodes.
- Preferred: knowledge of performance improvement techniques, metrics, and alerting.
- Preferred: experience with KubeVirt, qemu, virtualization, and hypervisor technologies.
- Preferred: experience with low-level frameworks, Linux, and databases.
- Preferred: excellent written and verbal communication skills.
