Responsibilities
- Learn to develop software for Garmin communication and navigation products under guidance.
- Develop features for aeronautical and weather-data products across mobile, web, and avionics platforms.
- Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers.
- Learn to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities.
- Maintain software for products already in production and contribute to new product software design.
- Integrate with, use, and provide feedback on products in development when possible.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Maintain excellent academics, generally with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Have relevant experience or training in a high-level language such as C, C++, C#, or Java.
- Have relevant experience or training in data structures or object-oriented design methodology.
