Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end AI-driven product features using LLM APIs.
- Develop chat-based user experiences and non-visible AI integrations powering Libra’s core functionality.
- Build and optimize RAG systems, including document parsing, semantic chunking, and retrieval pipelines.
- Build scalable backend systems using FastAPI and Python tooling.
- Design and implement agent orchestration systems for complex, multi-step legal workflows.
- Build evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure with continuous monitoring and alerting for AI feature quality.
- Maintain high standards for security, reliability, and data privacy.
- Collaborate with Product, Legal Engineering, and Design to prototype, test, and refine AI use cases.
- Explore new models, tools, techniques, and AI coding agents while contributing to a pragmatic engineering culture.
Requirements
- Deep experience building products that integrate large language models through APIs.
- Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, and common data science packages.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and security best practices.
- Experience with modern AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
- Excellent English communication skills; German fluency is a plus.
- TypeScript and front-end development experience is a bonus.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with an entrepreneurial, pragmatic, execution-focused approach.
