Base Salary
$126k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of key platform areas and initiatives.
- Lead custom hardware prototyping and platform bring-up across multiple SoCs.
- Develop and maintain the embedded Linux operating system.
- Drive power and performance optimization and secure boot configuration.
- Support high-volume manufacturing by improving system stability.
- Influence architectural decisions across business units.
- Debug complex cross-stack problems and document root causes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to establishing strong engineering standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in Linux development in C, including bootloaders and device drivers.
- Experience with cross-platform development and build tools.
- Ability to read schematics and integrated circuit device datasheets.
- Experience bringing products through the full software lifecycle.
- 6+ years of embedded software and/or hardware experience.
- Proactive, self-directed, and good at estimating project scope.
