Responsibilities
- Deliver complete software solutions across design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations.
- Research, prototype, and deliver new LLM-based solutions and continuously improve existing ones.
- Design experiments and evaluation frameworks for AI solutions.
- Maintain and monitor AI services and cloud data pipelines, including data analysis and error analysis.
- Identify opportunities for AI tools across the organization and present recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advise management on project-level issues and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI.
- Excellent Python skills and strong programming fundamentals.
- A track record of producing reliable, tested, observable, production-ready code.
- Hands-on experience with LLM prompting, structured outputs, evaluation, and cost control.
- Experience building agentic workflows and using AI coding agents.
- Strong data science foundations including experimental design, evaluation metrics, error analysis, ground-truth datasets, data analysis and cleaning, statistics, and data visualization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, SQL, and PySpark.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Azure OpenAI, e-commerce or product data, image processing, and third-party vision APIs.
