Base Salary
$142k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate large-scale, high-performance streaming data processing systems.
- Build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using best-in-class software engineering practices.
- Develop optimal data models for storage and retrieval.
- Ensure the platform supports high availability, reliability, and low-latency.
- Take full ownership from solution investigation to operational health.
- Establish and execute architectural roadmaps.
- Drive continuous improvement of the data platform and services.
- Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Implement data quality and validation processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data-related products with proficiency in Spark, Flink, Spring, and Java.
- Experience with open-source frameworks and technologies like AWS, NoSQL, and Big Data Technologies.
- Hands-on Python experience.
- Excellent coding skills with emphasis on data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in distributed systems design and maintenance.
- Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
