Responsibilities
- Develop automation infrastructure solutions for multiple software projects.
- Design solutions that enable automation flows on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate daily with team leaders, software developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
- Provide service and support for automation developers.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers.
- Potentially lead a small team of engineers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of programming experience, with Python preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
- Experience with software engineering concepts including object-oriented programming, object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and Gerrit.
- Preferred: experience working with public clouds, especially AWS.
- Preferred: experience as a technical lead or small development team lead.
- Preferred: experience with CI tools such as Docker and Jenkins.
