Responsibilities
- Own the deployment journey from the first process file to a running, measurably improving production workflow.
- Configure Camunda clusters, debug integration failures, build custom agents, and develop features, agents, and skill files.
- Work across Java services and React interfaces to improve performance and fault tolerance in distributed systems.
- Drive adoption across technical and business stakeholders and turn deployments into lasting customer capability.
- Document deployment practices, build the implementation playbook, and make future deployments faster.
- Train and hand off each customer team so it can operate independently and act on improvement results.
- Support a target of at least one active workflow and improvement loop at 90 days and 3–5 viable customer deployments at 12 months.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and operating software in a large enterprise production environment.
- Ability to debug integrations, write custom agents against legacy APIs, stand up Camunda clusters, and explain generated BPMN to technical and business audiences.
- Practical production AI experience, including context management, prompt engineering, agent testing, and integration tradeoffs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, architecture, and business leadership while working through ambiguity.
- Ability and willingness to use the Camunda product.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Preferred: customer-facing engineering or professional services experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.
- Preferred: production experience with agentic systems or AI-integrated workflows.
- Preferred: contributions to a shared platform or open source project used by others.
