Responsibilities

  • Contribute to applications and services leveraging Large Language Models and Generative AI.
  • Build prototypes, experiment with models and prompting approaches, and integrate AI models using APIs and SDKs.
  • Develop RAG solutions using internal documents and enterprise data.
  • Write Python and/or C#/.NET scripts and application components, including backend services and APIs.
  • Work with databases and other data sources as required by projects.
  • Test and improve AI applications and investigate technical issues with support from experienced engineers.
  • Explore Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, embeddings, vector search, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Document experiments and solutions, participate in technical discussions, present results, and gradually take ownership of development tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
  • Good programming fundamentals and practical experience with Python, C#, Java, or another modern programming language.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and communication between software applications and external services.
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
  • Ability to investigate technical problems, learn independently, experiment, and collaborate effectively.
  • Good working proficiency in English.
  • Academic projects, personal projects, internships, professional experience, and open-source contributions are considered relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Python for AI projects, C#/.NET or ASP.NET Core, LLM APIs or AI SDKs, Generative AI projects, Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform, RAG, embeddings, vector search, SQL, REST APIs, Git, Machine Learning fundamentals, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Fluency in Italian is an advantage.
