Base Salary
$189k - $303k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration and implementation of perception algorithms for the Aurora Driver.
- Research and develop state-of-the-art deep learning and machine learning models for challenging perception scenarios.
- Develop verification and validation technologies and techniques.
- Partner with online maps, simulation, and safety engineers to prepare online mapping technology for driverless operation.
- Build infrastructure and tests supporting go/no-go deployment decisions.
- Integrate, test, and deploy production-ready solutions into the Aurora Driver’s production code.
Requirements
- Excellent software engineering skills in Python and/or C++.
- Extensive experience with a deep learning framework such as PyTorch.
- Extensive experience in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, or another relevant artificial intelligence field.
- Relevant self-driving, autonomy, or robotics industry experience is desirable.
- Open-source contributions and a strong machine learning publication record are desirable, including work associated with relevant top-tier conferences or journals.
