Base Salary
$220k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to convert design decisions into executable criteria.
- Design and implement high-performance, low-latency calculation engine code.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Advocate for correctness-first development and a culture focused on quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend software development.
- Strong Core Java skills, including threading, allocation, garbage collection, and performance tuning, with experience writing low-latency Java.
- Deep expertise in database engines, compiler design, investment bank front-office systems, language design, or related areas.
- Understanding of JVM operation.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code.
- Preferred experience building planning software.
- Preferred knowledge of multidimensional modeling, Lambda Architecture, and Spring.
